Ashley Adams has been appointed to the position of Kwikspace Cape Town branch manager effective 4 January 2021.

Adams, a registered Professional Engineering Technologist (PR.Tech.Eng) with over 30 years engineering experience, boasts a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and postgraduate diploma in Business Administration. He has completed no less than 10 separate short courses related to his profession, with finance, legal, safety and industrial relations among them.

His career experience includes that with companies in mechanical engineering, construction material supply, and specialised watercraft manufacture. Adams held managerial positions in all but his first position, which he acquired prior to completing his NHDP in Mechanical Engineering.

Registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa and a member of the SA Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Adams has several career highlights. Among them are achieving competitive profit margins under declining market conditions; maintaining market share in a highly competitive market; achieving the lowest operational costs compared to similar operations; and significantly improving the area of safety performance in his various positions.

Reporting to Kwikspace COO Roberto Campos, Adams says that in addition to his career experience, the value he brings to Kwikspace is his thorough understanding of project management and the technical aspects; and the ability to motivate team members to exceed performance targets.

“We welcome Ashley to the Cape Town side of our Kwikspace family and look forward to working with him as he takes the branch to new levels,” said Campos.
