The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) listing committee has approved to suspend trading on the stock of ODIN Investments (ODIN) as of Thursday, November 25th, 2021, the EGX said in a statement.

This comes as a response to ODIN Investments’ request submitted to the EGX to voluntarily halt trading on its stock starting November 25th until the listing of the capitals of Odin for Financial Investments (the demerging company) and Odin for Investment and Development (the demerged company).

ODIN, formerly known as Egyptians Abroad for Investment and Development Company, aims to attract funds from Egyptians living abroad and invest them in the ongoing development of Egypt, with a focus on the real estate and financial services sectors.
