Egypt: Domty’s consolidated profits skyrocket 717% YoY in 9 months

Arabian Food Industries Company (Domty) (DOMT) posted a 716.8% year-on-year (YoY) jump in consolidated profit attributable to the parent company during the first nine months of 2022, according to the financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on November 15th.

 

The company’s consolidated profit excluding minority interest surged to EGP 162.683 million in the nine months to September 30th from EGP 19.917 million in the same period a year earlier.

Sales soared to EGP 3.592 billion in January-September from EGP 2.273 billion in the comparative period of 2021.

 

Furthermore, the standalone net profit after tax hiked to EGP 158.313 million in the period from January 1st to September 30th from EGP 9.212 million in the same period last year.

 

Domty is an Egypt-based company engaged in the production and sale of dairy products, including cheese products, such as Tetra Pak cheese, plastic tubes cheese, mozzarella cheese, and spread cheese, as well as milk products and juices.
