Global digital money transfer service, World Remit, announced the launch of the World Remit Entrepreneurs Program in Zimbabwe and then three other African countries- Kenya, Ghana, and Nigeria.

The announcement was made in Ghana by the program brand ambassador, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie aka Patoranking.

The program highlights the company’s commitment to facilitate development in Africa by creating the opportunity to support and empower small businesses to grow their businesses starting in November 2020 till the end of January 2021.

Beneficiaries will also participate in learning modules to be delivered by the project partners, The Nest, a pan-African tech incubation hub reaching entrepreneurs from all sectors, domains, and industries across the continent.

To qualify for the program, interested participants are required to be WorldRemit customers and would need to transfer £50 or its equivalent in their local currency to Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, or Zimbabwe between 2nd November and 31st December 2020. After which selected winners will get the WorldRemit Business Booster pack and get access to the digital training course.
