Uruguayan Agtech, The Climate Box secured $350K on a Pre-seed round led by The Yield Lab.

Label Investments and an angel investor also participated.

The company will use the funds to strengthen its global sales force and research and development for its software.

“We will expand the team to twelve employees in 2024 and will address a massive data collection strategy. The idea is to have a 100% software-based product,” said Pedro Mastrángel, CEO and co-founder of The Climate Box.

The Climate Box offers farmers and agricultural companies a toolkit for frost risk management, including software that predicts frosts and educational tools.

The company has over 100 B2B clients and performed more than 120 projects, analyzing 60,000 hectares in Mexico, the United States, Portugal, France, Spain, and Australia.
