Education:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Programmes Management/Social Sciences/Public Health or related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years progressive relevant professional experience in programmes management, of which at least 5 years will include health or Global Fund grant management experience;
- Sound knowledge of Global Fund polices and processes and experience working on Global Fund programmes, an asset;
- Work experience in developing countries highly desirable;
- Strong familiarity with the UN or UNDP programmes management practices, rules and procedures, desirable;
- Solid experience in the management of people and systems in high-pressure environments;
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages and web-based management systems.
Language Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written English.
- Portuguese or Spanish is desirable.
Documents to be included when submitting the proposal
Interested individual consultants must submit the following documents/information to demonstrate their qualifications:
Proposal:
- Explaining why they are the most suitable for the work and brief methodology on how they will approach and conduct the work;
- Financial proposal;
- Personal CV including past experience in similar projects as required in the TOR
Financial Proposal:
- The financial proposal shall specify an all-inclusive daily fee. Payments will be made to the Individual Consultant based on specific and measurable deliverables as specified in the TOR upon completion of all corresponding deliverables
Evaluation:
Individual consultants will be evaluated based on the following methodologies:
Cumulative analysis
Award of the contract will be made to the individual consultant whose offer has been evaluated and determined as:
a) responsive/compliant/acceptable, and,
b) Having received the highest score out of a pre-determined set of weighted technical and financial

Only candidates obtaining a minimum of 70% of the maximum obtainable points would be considered for the financial evaluation
