Using the power of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in the cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS) is launching its first Global Fintech Accelerator to help fintech innovators create and launch innovative financial services products.

150 fintech startups  from North America (NAMER), Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and Latin America (LATAM) that are utilizing AI and machine learning technologies will be selected for the AWS Global Fintech Accelerator.

From September 18 through October 23, selected startups will participate in a six-week remote program where they will receive individualized business and technical mentoring on topics like funding, scalability, and go-to-market strategies, as well as the essentials of using AWS, the cloud, and AI/ML.

The top 15 startups in the program will be asked to take part in a demo day with a carefully chosen selection of VCs, financial services organizations, potential clients, and other significant market players at the conclusion of the six-week period. They will get extra AWS Activate credits worth up to $75,000 instead.

AWS Activate credits worth up to US$25,000 and a variety of additional perks from accelerator partners in the fintech, venture capital (VC), and financial services are also included in the package of advantages that cohort members will get.

The application deadline is August 14.
