Kwikspace units on the Port of Cape Town

0

In September 2020, Kwikspace delivered a set of purchased and rented modular buildings to the Port of Cape Town, providing a total of 16 units to a local freight transport and handling company. The delivery included mobile offices, a canteen, security kiosks and ablution and shower facilities, fitted with plumbing and electrical reticulation services. The scope of the supply also included two locker rooms.

The relocatable units have been employed to not only meet the necessary regulations pertaining to COVID-19, but provide employees with increased quality facilities and to better accommodate night shift personnel.

The rental units, which are contracted for six months, were delivered, joined and erected in just a week-and-a-half. Current discussions indicate the rental period may be extended by an additional six months.

Kwikspace offers cost-effective, quality modular building solutions for businesses across the country, from storerooms, security huts, ablutions and shower units to kitchens, canteens, classrooms, clinics, offices and complete site-based accommodation camps.
