The principal objective of the project is to enhance resilience and response to climate shocks in Malawi, by improving management of climate disaster risks. The specific objectives are: (i) strengthening the capacity of Malawi to evaluate climate-related risks and costs and elaborate subsequent adaptation measures at both national and sub-national levels; and (ii) promoting initial financing for disaster risk transfer solutions.
