(Ecofin Agency) – Airtel Uganda has officially launched new 4G network masts in Rwemikoma, Kazo District, as part of its continued mission to expand digital inclusion and reliable connectivity across the country, the company announced on April 29.

The new infrastructure, aligned with Airtel’s 2019 commitment to nationwide 4G rollout, is set to deliver faster internet, clearer voice calls, and enhanced access to mobile money and digital services for the local community.

This development marks a significant step in bridging Uganda’s digital divide, offering more rural communities access to modern communication tools and opportunities for economic empowerment.
