The THRIVE Global Impact Challenge is calling for applications from African agrifood startups for a prize of $1 million.

The goal of the challenge is to help fund the shift towards a net-zero agricultural future.

The THRIVE Global Impact Challenge is a global initiative that seeks to identify the most innovative enterprises that are working to create a more sustainable future for agriculture.

The Global Impact Challenge is dedicated to five primary themes, each of which is essential for the transition to a net-zero future for agriculture, in accordance with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

The THRIVE Global Impact Summit will be the venue for the announcement of the overall winner after the finalists from each theme have advanced to the finals and submitted their pitches.

The winning company receives the THRIVE Global Impact Challenge Award in addition to the following:

  • A place on THRIVE’s award-winning Global Accelerator Programme
  • Investment from SVG Ventures up to USD 1 million
  • Opportunity to pitch live at the THRIVE Global Impact Summit in Silicon Valley
  • Two complimentary tickets to attend the THRIVE Global Impact Summit and pre-summit networking reception.
