The overall objectives of the assignment for the individual Social Safeguards and Gender Specialist are to lead the implementation and monitoring of social safeguards measures and gender action plan to ensure the project compliance with the Bank’s ISS requirements, as well as with the relevant Government of The Gambia policies and laws. Advising on issues related to gender, sex and sexuality, educating and establishing policies and procedures for gender acceptance.
