In an effort to close the digital skills gap and create employment, German robotic solutions firm Servicetrace is set to train some 100 young developers on robotic process automation (RPA) skills.

The firm has partnered with the Kenyan African Elite Group to provide training for young graduates and female developers.

“We are committed to helping young technology graduates in Africa find opportunities by developing skills that lead to good paying jobs in the global market,” said Markus Duus, founder and chief executive of Servicetrace GmbH.

“Servicetrace’s commitment to Africa will make it possible to train ICT technology graduates and mobilize them to meet growing demand in Africa,” said Lucia Musau, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Elite Group.

In partnership with its regional network of digital technology partners, the African Elite Group will provide resources to trainees through mentorship programs.
